Qualitätssichernde Basisannahmen für Entwurf und Berechnung von Kühlturmschalen am Beispiel des Kraftwerks Opole
The project is, exclusively, concerned with the most important assumptions made in structural analysis and design of the cooling tower shells, columns and foundations of the two new cooling towers in Opole. Both the local soil situation and the wind effects due to adjacent buildings are considered when evaluating the specific design concept. The R&D-Project shall aid the structural designer for the two cooling towers to optimize and modify the performed structural analysis and design under the responsibility of ERPRO, Rybnik, Poland.
